How are you my dearest sniffles? You don’t look good today, I can sense it. Would you mind if I tell you something to cheer you up? Perhaps, you want to know the proven reasons why quotes are important in our daily life?

I just had a bad day today. What am I going to do? I am feeling so weary and tired, for all you know. I think I just wanna lay down and sleep.  All I want to do now is just relax and forget all those hell of crap at work. I wish I could unwind, ease-out, veg out, whatever.

Sounds familiar, my dear soul?  Could you relate to me, please?

Whenever I’m having a bad day, I just want something to perk me up. It could be an online mobile game, a book, a movie, food, or simply an inspiring quote.  However, quotes have been my favorite de-stressor.

You see, I am basically an introvert person, so I try everything I can to console myself, as I don’t wanna be a nuisance to anyone.

So when I am at my lowest, I look for a word or two, to brighten my day. And that is when I search for a quote to encourage me especially when I have to accomplish a task that is so hard for me to complete.

I have found out and gathered the following proven reasons why quotes are important:

  1.  Quotes are the cheapest and easiest way to enliven your day. As I have read from a post, “Inspirational quotes are important because they activate an emotional pulse point in our hearts and minds when we are in a distressing situation.”

It depends on how much you can benefit from it as to how much you can get from it.

reasons why quotes are important

  1.  They are the fastest way to uplift you when you are distressed. It is accessible, free, and anytime you can have it.

Just look for it anywhere–from your favorite social media apps,  be it from

And there you are!  Your day starts to clear up.

  1.  The lessons and knowledge of one’s life story can be put up in one short quote.

Consider this my sweet bod, my best-loved motivational quote with my Nanay (Filipino word for a Mom) is,

“In oneself lies the whole world,  and if you know how to look and learn, the door is there and the key is in your hand.  Nobody on earth can give you either that key or the door to open except yourself.”   J.  Krishnamurti

Every time I read this quote,  I can vividly remember my mom, a competent English professor, who is my prime inspiration to become a blogger.

  1.  They can confirm your belief in something you want to achieve.

Whether you are in doubt or simply overwhelmed about choosing a career,  a simple quote can bring you to heights and inspire you to go for your ardent dream.

  1.  They can transform your present sad state into a joyful one in a moment.

  6. Quotes are important because they act as a daily mantra to guide you.

Take this one,  my dearest Soul.

“Life is a one time offer.  Use it well.”

  1.  If you have your own famous favorite author or writer, you can spread his words through his quotes.

  1.  As a blogger/writer, quotes are important because they can explain better your posts as a sort of an opening or a closing line.

For instance, you may check this opening quote from my post,  “20 Ways That Will Make You Happy.”

ways to make you happy

  1.   You can make it a part of your daily goals to be consistent, a mindset that is.

  1.  Another reason why quotes are important is, it can be the testimony of one who is living a problem as you had before. I have written a post about this.

  1.  They can be a form of communication to reach an endpoint with others.

If you are having a hard time working on an end goal with your peers,  why not agree with a one-liner like this, “Get shit done.”

reasons why quotes are important

  1.  They are easy to remember and use daily in your life. I have personally picked a quote for this especially when I am at a loss as to what to tackle first.

“Do what matters most. “

  1.  They are your most important tools to motivate and inspire you.

Achieving one’s goal in life is never easy,  especially if you are like me, who in the first place, considers myself as a newbie in this blogging world. Nevertheless, I am always telling myself,  “You can’t please everyone, so do it for yourself.”

  1.  They are the easiest way to share when others, too, need something to cheer them up.

When my friends are so downtrodden, I share them this quote,

  1.  They can serve as your daily reminder lest you forget.

“Thoughts Become Words, Words Become Actions, Actions Become Who You Are.”

  1.  They can make you fully understand a topic better even when the ideas are from different authors.

  1.  They can serve as a sort of mind stimulant, as coffee is to your sleepy eyes, so quotes are to your slacking brain.

  1.  When you are explaining a complex idea, they can simplify them.

  1.  It can boost creativity and imagination.

  1.  Above all, and one of the proven reasons why quotes are important is, as soon as you start to read one, you can’t stop doing it, and you crave for more.

“Reading changes everything”, from Mike Schmoker

The more you read, the more you learn,

The more you learn, the more you earn.”

For this does not literally mean earn money, but earn knowledge. Therefore, as long as you take it heartily, mindfully and spiritually, success comes easily.

In conclusion, a quote,  be it an inspirational, or a motivational one; can do a lot of wonders to your

  • broken heart,
  • your healing soul, and
  • your physical body suffering from the pain of illness

In addition to this, it can free your cluttered mind from dilemma and your beloved from agony and failures in life.

In short,  it is like a magic potion that can do wonders for your soul.

So, what else are you thinking? Go for it now, my dearest.

And, one more thing, may I ask a favor from you, please. Can you share this with others?
